2 day rental. Car malfunction. Towing back to the airport. Uber to airport to get a replacement vehicle. These newer cars with push buttons should come with instructions on how to operate for example where is parking brake .. figuring out how to open the gas cover was nuts.. there was no button within the vehicle on the side of the driver side. Driving replacement vehicle to the airport for 20 minutes a green vehicle light pops up on the dash freaks me out as I don't know what it means. Management staff for excellent service. General basic instructions to operate the vehicle should we provided to customers who are not used to these type of cars. Never used Uber ever. Fortunately Uber driver was nearby and I was able to pick up a replacement car rental at the Honolulu Airport within 30 minutes. Would be nice if Budget had vehicles for rent that use keys and this should be an option in the vehicle is reserved. Budget did respond and offered a credit which was appreciated. I hope my next rental will have a vehicle manual in the glove compartment.

Changing the review as Budget Investigated the fuel issue and accepted the car was full upon return
My tip is when returning, ensure you take photos and provide receipts of the fuel purchased.
Ultimately this would have been a 5 star review had it not been for the hiccup at the end, because the Car was amazing
I got a Camaro, it was iconic and in great condition and such a great experience.
The service at the airport was also good.

First car 4 years old, high mileage literally exploded. Battery blew up with a very loud explosion spraying acid all over and stranding us at Costco. Less than stellar response was that roadside assistance would be $129. We used our own. They got the car started. We returned it to the airport and traded for a new car. Got another old high mileage car. Wasted an entire day on vacation. No apologies. No offers like an upgrade or really anything. Will not use Budget again

Great experience - was a last minute booking (literally hr before pickup it was booked). Was able to book, pickup was quick, and return without any issues.
