The best prices for the same services in Homer. It Looks closed but it’s open, just ask at the fabric store if you need help or change. The staff were very friendly and helpful when I needed them. Highly recommend this place if you want a cheaper shower in Homer $4 instead of $9 at the washboard…

I found Mary on premises yesterday. She told me the hours, and she said she'd be there Saturday from around 1-5. She also runs the fabric shop out front. She is very accommodating and friendly. Some of the machines are "Out of Order", but the two I used worked just fine. Today I had 4 small rugs and used the large washing machine for $6.50 plus a buck for some soap. Very happy. Yesterday, I used one the small machines for $4.00. Also very pleased with the results.
Be patient, find Mary, and you'll have a good experience.

You might want to call ahead before going to this business. It's a low-key affair and the owner might get bored, vacate the premises and you'll arrive to find the place locked and empty.
Making a small-town laundromat pay must be hard, but it would work better if your actual posted hours were your actual working hours.
It also helps to post your prices and hold to them when you do.
Blindly changing your business model hardly instills confidence or loyalty, so your struggling small business will continue to be small and struggling.
