Rented a casting pole from these guys. Caught 3 fish (2 silvers and one pink)with a 1/2 oz #5 orange spinner in the fishing hole across the road. Cost was $25 for the rod and then you buy your choice of lure to use it with. Permit can be purchased there as well but it might be easier to just do it yourself online. Sounds like you can do it in person as well at the fish and game office.

They have really friendly owners/staff. Answered all the fishing questions we had. We were new to deep sea fishing and the guy that helped us was understanding. Couldnt recommend this place enough.
