I agree with the comment I was failed through the school system I struggled with anxiety and still was forced to talk no kid should have to be called on and forth to talk ever. We should all listen to kids boundaries and their concerns instead of belittling them

As a former student of the schools from here, I didn't have much of a problem myself, the problem was how the staff treated all my class mates around me, multiple times, one situation was when one of my friends had problems with social anxiety, the teacher didn't really understand it and forced them to speak in front of the class while they were crying. Another situation was where a different friend was having problems mentally and went to see one of the councilors about it, instead of being supportive and nice, they were angry and said things like "Just be happy" causing my friend to then have even more problems mentally. Yet another situation was when I had an anti sematic teacher and my Jewish friend had constantly had their grade "Coincidentally" dropping. Horrible teachers in general, the rest of the staff were pretty nice.
