image Such a wonderful place. We went today and adopted a kitty. Animals there are well cared for. Such a clean facility and amazing staff.

image My partner and I adopted 3 gerbils less than 24 hours ago. One had to be taken to the vet (started at the vet connected with the humane society but they let us know theyre not qualified to care for small animals and suggested Medvet) we learned his lungs must be drained. This may not save him and could be a repetitive problem so they suggested euthanasia but now we cant move him without paying almost $1000 and the humane society will not help in any capacity. There is no way they didnt know he was sick and struggling and yet they had no problem allowing him to be adopted. This is such shameful, disgusting, heartless behavior from them. Will NOT be supporting the organization going forward.

image Absolutely terrible. Long story short, we have a family dog and family member lost the house and had no choice but to put him here until we could come get him he is a full bred blue nose pitt, the absolute sweetest boy. I know everyone says that about their dog and everyone else may have a different opinion- not here! Anyways, he was healthy as can be 3 days prior to being at this animal care facility. When we picked him up (mind you, before they threatened to put him down), he was in a special room for mean dogs. They said he wasnt nice to them and all of that non sense. He was caged with urine, piles and piles of poop, no water, no food in his cage as if he has been terribly mistreated. He had poop smeared on him and the leash still attached to him. (and guess what!!! he was saying hello to alll of the workers on our way out and they were jumping away from him! he was wagging his tail and so pumped to be out of the misused cage that he could have been in for 72 hours straight) He was essentially skin and bones and had a swollen eye (yes, it could have been from another dog) but it just seemed off. She said he ate breakfast and lunch, we arrived @ 3pm and he didnt use the bathroom until we got to our destination 6 hours later- was he given food/water? He wasnt the same dog we knew until we got to a safe place. My question to this facility is, #1 why treat our dog differently from the rest with your only reason for him being a pit bull? thats wrong. hes a well behaved dog. #2, if your scared of dogs, why work here? Terrible.
