I waited 3 hours for a 4 minute check up. I still don't know what's wrong.

Today my husband brought my 6 year old in for a possible ear infection. The doctor was outside smoking upon us entering. When we got inside after filling out paper work I was asked to present our insurance. I am active duty military, serving in the Army. She said because he didnt have his own card that they couldnt accept our insurance. For reference, children, unless both parents are active duty do not have a card but use their active duty parents social security number.
