Don't trust the 5 star reviews. They force you to do it. They have you stand there for a photo Then hand you the keys. Then you have to do the review there. These unethical individuals and their corrupt organization are not worth your time. They will lie and do everything in their power to con you into thinking they can help you get a car, then screw you and your credit completely over. Good thing I was able to go elsewhere, get Several approvals, and drive off that same day. This company is in the business of predatory loans, and credit destruction. Stay Away!

EDIT on 02/13: Its been a month and I havent even received a response on here, when a response has been given to nearly every review on this. Silence tends to be an admission of guilt. Just a heads up to all customers:
On 02/10-2/12, I filed a complaint with the BBB, FTC, California Attorney General and notified the councilmembers and Mayor of Hayward of these unlawful business practices. This review is NOT intended to degrade the business, rather, inform customers of steps to take if youve been a victim of Carhop scams. A truly horrifying place to purchase a vehicle. PLEASE IGNORE the pleasant reviews, as I suspect many of them are false.
I am currently in legal woes with CarHop. As a VIP customer, I was treated like garbage, discriminated against, and sold a car that they knew was broken. When I demanded my money back in the first seven days, they illegally repossessed my car after I paid almost $1000 to fix it.(Which they also refused, citing motor mounts as a comfort issue.) I had to pay almost $2000 to get the car back, and am still expected to follow the fabricated contract.
Did I forget to mention I have a 9-month-old baby and I was only allowed to purchase a coupe? I even offered to put $2000 down extra for some better choices, and was told, no by Megan.
As a VIP customer, Im supposed to be able to choose my car, and certainly have a better interest rate than what they offered. Ive paid off a car through carhop, and my husband has paid off TWO.
Its been almost a month and they refuse to return my belongings, forcing me to report them stolen.
CarHop was penalized millions of dollars in 2015 FOR THE SAME ISSUES I AM SUING FOR. Turns out, they dont learn from their mistakes.
Please stay AWAY from ALL of these places. Even the San Jose location is permanently closed, as is their main branch for sales and finance in California. Hmmm wonder why that is?
If youre worried about being scammed, DO NOT COME HERE. Ive paid thousands for a car I havent even put 1000 miles on. I wish I could rate 1 star for the disgusting behavior from Megan the store manager, Bernice in finance, and Ryan as some bogus negotiator from somewhere in Minnesota?
If youre someone dealing with something similar, YOU HAVE RIGHTS. Please, dont let these scam artists push you around. I suspect they force people to put exact down payments they want to pocket the money.
Immediately after I paid so much for everything, Megan went on vacation. Must be nice to be able to do that with my daughters first Christmas money.

Make sure to do your research They may say its low monthly payments and they may take you if you have bad credit but theyre charging you double the price of what the vehicle is worth. Go ahead and look on Kelley Blue Book before you buy any vehicle from any of these locations
