The Whiteman Real Estate Team is, in a word, top-notch!
They are exceedingly responsive and professional, knowledgeable about all possible aspects of selling a house. When we were considering how to approach the sale process, the team performed a prompt and extensive search of similar local houses, recently sold, with lots of photos and details, helping us to agree on a listing price. Leigh gave us advice on readying the house for photos which were then prepared by a photographer hired by the team - everything went so smoothly - not a ripple of delay or misunderstanding. During the process, we unavoidably were out of town for a while, but this was easily accommodated; Leigh communicated by phone and Zoom meeting with us in Germany. All done in record time with perfect communication and advice. The house sold quickly. The Whiteman Team under Leighs excellent leadership is undoubtedly our Realtor for Life.

Working with Leigh was a delight and a lifesaver. Leigh helped us to buy the perfect house by both ensuring that we had a wide variety of choices, and also by actually listening to our needs and engaging in real conversation about what made the most sense for our family. When it came time to make an offer, Leigh was an incredible advocate for us and guided us through every step of the negotiation with firm resolve - she made it her mission to get us the absolute best deal possible. Buying a house is stressful, and a realtor can sometimes add to that stress through poor communication, dodgy advice, or being outright clingy. Leigh was on top of all of the details for us, but also made sure we were fully informed and in full control of our decisions. When we needed time to think, she disappeared until we were ready to proceed. Truly a remarkable realtor - I cannot recommend Leigh Whiteman and her team strongly enough. Although Leigh did such an excellent job that we don't plan to move again any time soon, as long as she is in business we will never use any other realtor. Thanks, Leigh!

I worked with Leigh to purchase two properties. Both times, the service was exceptional in every aspect. She helped to figure out exactly what kind of house we were looking for, and knew exactly which neighborhoods to explore. Her familiarity with Guilford and the Shoreline area is remarkable! Leigh and her team were fabulous! They were professional and responsive, and helped us through every step of buying a new house and selling our old house. Leigh knows everything about Guilford! After talking with us about what we were looking for, she helped guide us to good options and evaluate those options with an objective eye. Once we found "our" house, she and her team were there for us through the inevitable ups and downs of the process. It was so reassuring to know that we had a professional on our side! Then, when we moved to selling our old house, Leigh had all the connections we needed to get the house ready for market and complete the sale.
