image Mother just got here we are watching everything. I can't give a negative review. Everyone seems nice and my Mother is well taken care of these aides need more money and the nurses too. This is the biggest issue with elderly care the pay needs to be higher and they need benefits and other incentives. I worked as a Nursing Assistant and loved my patients. I know how this position can be a challenge.

image I wish I could give less than 1 star. Your family member would be better off on the side of the street than in this place. They have no hot water, no drinks, not NEARLY enough staff & they neglect their patients. The nurses dont know barely anything about their patients let alone give a damn about their needs. They dont know which medications their patients take & what theyre for. & to top it off, the CNAs say they dont have any bedpans. I dont know if my experience is based on the face that i was hard on these nurses for the care they were giving to my mom or the lack there of; but all the staff is RUDE & will go back & forth with you on any subject related to the patient.

image Applied for a job here. Lets just say that the process was very casual. There was no interview, but I signed new hire paperwork though my background hadnt came back yet. The lady, Im assuming was a nurse, didnt introduce herself. She did my drug test. And only after as I was leaving did she acknowledge me. In the meantime, I applied other places, did interviews elsewhere. Got a call at another place where I met the DON, got a tour, and a introduction to the job if I decided to take on. I did. Heartland finally called back with a job offer which I declined. A week later out of curiosity I called them back and asked them what if I wanted to work with them though I declined their offer. I was told that I could not EVER work there. I declined their offer and they payed for my background. So I would never be eligible to work there, even though I never worked there. I found this comical. These facilities are short staff and then had the nerve to lowball me on hourly rate. I make more where I am.

image I feel the reviews are from people who work there. My mom was told she would be transferring to this facility in Monday, which was yesterday, and she was left in transport because the facility said the bed that was suppose to go to her was for a male which I never heard of. Once that was disputed they proceeded to say they hired a new administrator and she is messing up paperwork. This place is unprofessional and clearly are in violation of HIPAA laws especially due to the fact that paperwork is being mixed up. I'm seeking law services for help in this matter. I DONT PLAY ABOUT MY MOM
