We found a dog wondering in our neighborhood, no current tags. So we brought him to Alta Sierra. Kelly found a chip and found the owner. The chip was older, so it took some digging! But Kelly kept at it! She is amazing! Thanks for your help Kelly!

When I set the appointment I let them know my kitty gets really bad anxiety leaving the house,
When my husband and i arrived I dont think we even waited 10 minutes before we were called to the room with I believe the veterinary assistant, hopefully thats the correct title. They were sweet calm and reassuring. They didnt skip a beat in getting right down on the floor with me to comfort and check Him out.
The doctor was very kind as well and realistic I felt a lot of trust with them. Then the next morning they even called and asked how my kitty was doing, and that was so thoughtful and really showed they care.

I called for an emergency call for my guinea pig who was sick. They took me very seriously and accepted him even though they were booked solid. I am forever thankful for their care and understanding. Regardless of the outcome, they did so much to help him. Thanks to the Doctor and staff for your expertise and compassion.
I wish I could leave another 5 review! I just want to add - even a couple years later, Alta Sierra was amazing! Yesterday (2/27/24) A pack of wild rez dogs got into our cattle pin and attacked our 6 mo old Calf. Her face was CRUSHED complete with actual holes on her snout and face that damages the sinus cavity. I'm talking you can see through quarter size holes into her mouth! She had other injuries to her neck, legs, and hind end as well. They took her in and stayed VERY late to work on her. They saved her life and did so much to fix her face so she can grow and breathe/eat/drink properly. I am SO thankful for this Dr. She is new to me as we haven't been there in a couple years and she was amazing! So was the staff!!! Thank you so much Alta!

From the phone call making the appointment to checking out was very thorough and professional! I drove an hour to have my dog spayed. I had a sick baby and let them know my circumstances, they were able to get us in and out as quickly as they could. I am so very thankful for their understanding. Tilly our lab is doing great and minimal pain after the spay too! Great place!
