My hair turned out beautiful! Tessa did an amazing job with my partial highlight, and Sophie also did an excellent job with my toner and blowout. They were both very sweet and professional. I would highly recommend them!

I visited Douglas J Aveda Beauty School this Saturday and was absolutely blown away by the exceptional service and results! Initially, I presented quite the challenge, coming in with warm brown hair and the ambitious desire to go magically blonde. What could have been a daunting task was made seamless and enjoyable, thanks to the incredible teamwork and dedication of Miya, her instructor, and another talented student, Taylor.
From the moment I walked in, I was treated with the utmost care and professionalism. The team took their time to ensure every step of the process was done perfectly, keeping me informed and comfortable throughout. Their attention to detail, combined with their skill and passion, made me feel incredibly valued and taken care of.
The end result? Absolutely stunning blonde hair that far exceeded my expectations! I left the Douglas J Aveda Beauty School feeling shiny, new, and utterly transformed. The effort and collaboration between Miya, her instructor, and Taylor showcased not only their individual talents but the high-quality education and ethos of the school itself.
I cannot recommend Douglas J Aveda Beauty School enough for anyone looking to undergo a beauty transformation. The atmosphere is welcoming, the students are exceptionally skilled and passionate, and the educators are genuinely invested in both their students' and clients' satisfaction. If you're considering a visit, go for it you won't be disappointed especially with the price!

STUDENTS THINKING OF ATTENDING THIS SCHOOL, BEWARE!!!
I had started the esthetician program in 2020, I did the first part of class online and then we started going back in person. After one day in class my grandfather had a stroke and I was the only person in my family that could take care of him. I had to unfortunately drop out of school. Did Douglas J care at all? Of course they didnt. Instead of any compassion or help, they decided to instead sue me and seize my tax return.
When my grandfather passed away I asked if I could return to school make payments on my balance and return to school. I was told I had to pay my overdue balance AND the tuition all over again to go back. Truly there are better more understanding schools in the area that wont kick you when youre down.
Douglas j, you should absolutely be ashamed of yourselves.
Edit 3/24/24:
Per their statement to give them a call and we could figure it out, that is NOT the case. They reiterated everything in my review. Then decided to file to garnish my state taxes for 1800. They DO NOT care about you! They only want money and are not caring or personal in their intentions! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. A family emergency put me over 2k in debt with them!!
