My brother had prostate cancer surgery here and the discharge planning was not only barbaric but unprofessional in every sense of the word.
It should be closed and every licensed person should be questioned.

Avoid this ER if you can.
I had THE WORST experience at the ER the other day. I came with excruciating back pain, waited for three hours and finally was admitted to the ER. Dr. Maria Montoya was assigned to me. She never came to see me. As a matter of fact, no one came to see me. I only SPOKE with a nurse practitioner, who told me that my case required a radiologist (I had an MRI cd with me) and radiologist had already left (unfortunately I was still waiting when the radiologist was available) and there was nothing they could do. We can give you a prescription for pain meds she said but you already have them.
I was really stunned. Im a medical doctor myself, and have witnessed a lot of various medical scenarios. But this one was the first (and hopefully the last) one when medical staff completely turned their back on the patient.
Conclusion. If you still contemplate visiting this ER, I can give you a piece advice - make sure your emergency happens during the hours convenient for the staff.
