This corporate location is anti-community and if I had any money with them in the first place Id move it. They directly abut a residential apartment and across the street are multiple additional apartments. Part of the Innsbrook trail network goes through (or at least appears to be through) their property. That trail and the nature surrounding it abruptly ends to accommodate this building, its sidewalks, and its vast wasteland of mostly unused parking spaces. Fine. Typical corporate. What is actively anti-local is the fact that they will have security chase you down if you so much as walk your dog through their enormous (NOT GATED and VERY OPEN) parking lot to get from the trail network back to the apartments. I had been asked at one point to just not walk immediately next to the building, which is understandable, but about two months later was told I cant even be on the very edge of the parking lot at night when basically no one is working there. To be clear, the security guards are very kind and just doing what their supervisor said! So this is an issue with Wells Fargo being so incredibly shady that they cant even have community members walk 50 yards away from the building on their parking lot that likely destroyed a good amount of nature to exist uselessly there. I presume theyll respond with how they support the community with jobs, but if the company didnt make money off those peoples labor they wouldnt exist in the first place. Theres more to supporting a local area where you set up business than just hiring people and part of that is intangibles like this. If they blame it on being worried about a lawsuit on their private property that tells me just as much about how they operate as a company.
