I was impressed with our room and cleanliness despite some reviews here. The paint job was good in comparison to other hotels which seem to have been painted by monkeys! (Yes, I'm a contractor!) The shower was clean and functional. Same monkeys try to caulk! No monkeys here!
Front desk was accommodating. Recommended a pizza joint behind the Marathon gas station which serves the largest calzone in history!

Came from Massachusetts on a road trip and decided to stop for a break at this location. The website says hotel, but it is a MOTEL! I made my reservation online. I reserved the last room for one night, and apparently, it was a smoking room. Everything was dirty, and after I got ready for bed, I found out about the old stains in the blanket and sheet. Disgusting!! I was so disappointed. I went to the front desk and asked for another blanket ( the smoking room would get dirty and very nasty blankets told me the front desk). I asked for another room, and it was booked for the night, and the front desk couldn't cancel the reservation only the manager could. I decided to leave and not stay in that condition and called the manager later on for a refund.
The next day, I called the place asking for the manager, and the employee told me that the manager was not going to refund me because i stood in the room 30ms. This is a false claim, and I have proof that I stood inside the room about 18ms.
The booking was $148.89 on Friday, the 9th, for one night ( I didn't stay and requested refund) the transaction was cleared today, Tuesday 13th, with an amount of $153.36 (they overcharged me)
I called today to speak with the manager, and he was so rude and yelling saying that he was going to refund me but because I made a bad review yesterday ( an honest review from a customer who is paying for a service that they failed to provide) he was not going to refund me because of that. Insane!!
"I will file the report because the website says Hotel, and they told me in person that's a MOTEL. If so, that's misleading information to the customers, and that's not good. Hotels and motels have different rules, including refunds. This is not a sanitary place!! In case of failure to provide clean and proper service ( specifically the bed and pillows), then service should not be offered online. We should get a tour first to see the condition of the room before we pay." - I said it in my review from yesterday, and today ( updated review) , after the manager rudeness and unprofessional behavior, refusing to refund me due to his hurting feelings for my honest review. I moved forward and made the official report with my bank.
This is unbelievable!

Was traveling from Maine to Alabama and stopped here for the night as it was right off the highway and was cheap, just needed a place to sleep. When I arrived, it was a little sketchy as some guy was roaming around outside seeming to be looking around at cars. When I went inside, the woman at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. She gave me a great rate on a room and pointed me in the right direction. The room was clean for what it was, however, there were stains on the pillows and blankets. Luckily, I had brought my own. When I went to leave, my vehicle was still in tact and everything seemed to be okay. There was a guy standing on the top balcony staring at me while smoking a blunt, so that was unsettling. The best way to describe this place is you get what you pay for. No real bad things to say about it, but no real good things either other than the nice lady working the counter.
