My husband and I were patients for years at Precision Dental, and they were great. Dr. Goates never prescribed unnecessary treatment plans and the hygienists were all friendly and professional.
About three weeks ago, I used their website to request an appointment. A full week went by and there was no communication from them. I followed up with a voice mail message letting them know I was disappointed with the lack of service. They called me back and left a message saying they encourage their existing patients to call for appointments and that only new patients should request appointments through their website. (One, this was never communicated to me, and if I were a new patient, I still would've been sitting here a week later with no communication anyway.) They then effectively fired me as a patient from their practice without referring me to someone else. Fast forward another week and a half, and I received another message out of the blue from them stating they wanted to get me scheduled for my next appointment.
I'm not sure what has changed with the practice because it used to be so wonderful. My husband, who requires more frequent visits than I do, has said he has seen a lot of new employees there recently, so perhaps that has something to do with it. Regardless, it saddens us both to have to part ways with Dr. Goates after so many years of quality service.
