The room was clean and average. The staff was friendly. I was here for almost a week. Looking to buy a house. Great spot to discover the area.
Noteworthy details: Georgetown and the surrounding areas have the sweetest friendliest people, I didn't meet a sour person anywhere and that's unusual today.

After driving 7 hours from another state me and my mother arrive, check in. Attendent was very polite and moved us to a ground floor on well lite area of grounds. No extra charge. I asked about breakfast only yogurt and fruit cause hot food machines were not working. We get to room, it was a a joining room to several out of state men workers on either side and even men hanging in parking lot. Felt very unsafe being watched from parking lot and rooms on either side of us. Room smelled horrible, mold and urine on floor and walls. Furniture broken, holes in wall, writing on wall. Filthy enough that I'm sure health department would shut down. We immediately walked back to front desk and asked for a refund. I was told to call 1800 #. We left found the best westren in Pawleys island that is wonderful, clean and safe. Was told by customer support we have to wait till after planned check out day and for manager to respond to complaint and find resolution. Case # has been created and given but it may take days before I get a resolution. Only resolution at this point is a full refund and if not I will be contacting BBB and health department. DO NOT STAY HERE, county jail is better. I would prefer to give 0 stars but Google require one to post this 1 sta is for the attendent who clearly knew as 2 women traveling out of state alone, needed to be on ground and well lite side.
UPDATE: After arguing with customer care for 5 days and calling the manager of the hotel myself, I was offered free stays, then a refund through Zelle (red flag), then check in the mail. The manager offered me a refund. But instead, he charged my account another 211.40. Disputing both charges with bank and reporting to the local health department and BBB.
Rooms: Like staying in a county jail
Safety: Not safe for women and children.
