Got a job there being promised 4 days a week, was cut back to two and got bullied by housekeeping manager until I had to quit. Also she's the manager of the kitchen screaming at me for something I didn't know since I was new. DO NOT RECOMMEND. They treat patients poorly and ignore the call lights as well.

I personally don't think I could have found a better place for my Dad !! After little over 2 years placing him there. I believe he was at a great place. Every time I popped into visit him he was clearly in good hands. I would tell all the nurses and employees every time I visited him ( hey thank you all for taking care of my daddy) .So again Galena Manor ! Thanks again for taking so good care of my Daddy!!!

I will give one star because it didnt smell bad. I would give it zero stars for the unprofessional manner in which the staff conducts business. Multiple calls were left un returned ,many times ,to various family members in the process of trying to admit to the nursing home. When we quickly knew we had made a mistake by placing our loved ones there, comments were made to our loved ones making them feel guilty that their family had decided to move them to a different place. We are STILL waiting for a refund to be made for the time they had already paid for though they were only there a week. This has been about 6 weeks so far. The facility is shabby and essential equipment, such as the shower, are left broken and apparently there are no intentions to repair things as they break .The lunch I saw on my loved ones plate was below what inmates are served. A thin slice of turkey LUNCH MEAT with congealed gravy. At the price point changed for care, the food should be much better. The day-to-day staff whom interacts with the patients were kind but overall this was a negative experience.
