I visited them for the first time today as my previous provider is no longer in the network for the dental insurance plan that I have. They told me that I have to do a deep cleaning, even though my gum health is pretty good as I use electric toothbrush twice daily and floss everyday. And it's only been a year since my last cleaning. And my gum has never been worse than 3 my entire life. I never have any gum problems. They came up with a deep cleaning quote for which my part of the burden was $605. They asked me if I want to go with this cleaning. I said my gum is healthy never given a problem my whole life so today I just want to go with regular cleaning that my insurance covers with no charge but they denied me this service because i didn't want to go with deep cleaning which i know i didn't need. And escorted me out. They also gave me quote for another procedure which I have no complain about. But them denying regular procedure for not agreeing to pay for more expensive procedure never experienced at any dentist clinics from Minnesota to Texas my entire life, felt like they didn't care about patient except . But after reading through lots of comments here, looks like I'm not the only patient they try to rip off.

I always get the best care by the dentist Dr Schelin. Hes very compassionate and always makes sure you are pain free. The dental hygienist Yasmine is so pleasant and gentle.

Stay away! They are over billing patients and when asked, they claim they have to "look in to it" and never call back when they say they will. They didn't file my son's orthodontics because they "didn't think they were covered" yet never checked. They coded his treatment as if he were 19 when he was 17 and refuse to refund the $200 difference. They over charged me, based on the coding, $200 for a crown and won't refund me the difference. They wanted to charge $101 over coded insurance price for filings. They are overcharging in every way so stay away!

Do NOT Go here!! The dentist said I needed a root canal or extraction when my crown popped off. I spoke to some dentist friends and they said there is plenty of tooth left and I don't need an extraction. I went for a second opinion to Dr. Addam Edebe at Dental office of Mckinney and he said I DONT need an extraction and I DONT need a root canal. An hour later, he made me a perfect fitting crown and saved my tooth. The custar star dentist was dishonest and was solely looking to make money as he said he would favor extraction and implant as he though the tooth had a "poor prognosis"(which conveniently can be done in house and costs thousands of dollars) I am so thankful to have found Dr Addam Debebe at Dental office of Mckinney ! He saved my tooth and the entire process was painless!!!
