image I've been working out at this gym since the late 90's and is just seems to be getting worse and worse. The equipment is old school and access to the various parts of the gym and gym equipment keeps reducing. We used to be able to do cross fit in the big room but now we can't. We use to have access to aerobic steps and other equipment, but that is getting less and less every day. There used to be more open space for training the is not dependent on machines, but that is becoming less and less as well. The classes are great for beginners but not for people that are at the intermediate or advanced level.

image This location sucks!!! The shower heads in the locker rooms were broken and some of the showers didnt have soap dispensers because they were broke or stolen. The jacuzzi didn't even work either. The gym just looked really run down since it changed from Bally's. to blast. The equipment also looked really old and out dated. I suggest that you don't join and if you do please pick a different location.

image PLEASE BE AWARE Make sure they explain all the fees, if you decide to cancel for any reason plus the second initial payment that they will take automatic from your bank account Guys Explain this to everyone ..to have a legit business here!! So the $10 is crap... you pay $20.99 first then after 15 days they will charge you $20.99 again
Next month will charge you $49.99 annual fee + your monthly..tooo much money for this Gym !!!!!

image I feel like this place needs some work but there are some employees avid about change and improvement. It sucks we can't use the group-x room anymore to work out on our own, but that's due to members STEALING equipment. That isn't the fault of the company or staff. It's unfortunate that attendees can't be more civilized and retain from throwing their trash and used paper on the floors in the bathrooms also. Blast does not have a cleaning staff like Bally Total Fitness did. This means regular front desk staff have to clean when they have the availability to, and without the appropriate training as a staff for cleaning would. Give these kids (many of them are college students paying their way through school) a break if they don't restock the paper towels as quickly as you'd like. They're busy working several positions. Anyway, if it were not for the staff and management, I'd give up on this place, but most of them are Bally transfers and are trying to make Blast as good, if not better than the prior years.
