My contact lenses are difficult to fit due to an medical condition. Dr. Nathan was able to fit my lenses in late 2021, for which I am grateful. However, we recently moved out of Frederick and I needed to get a copy of that contact lens prescription for my new optometrist in Montgomery County. It took four phone calls over a week for Dr. Nathans staff to email me the prescription. Be aware that the FTC law and Maryland state law require optical prescribers to provide every patient a copy of their prescription At THE TIME they are successfully fitted and to have the patient sign a verification of such. Dr. Nathans office failed to do either of these.

Got recommended to the office but whoever was on the phone was very rude and unprofessional. Did not mute his phone and said he will go ahead and drop the phone again. Wow wow wow Im impressed !

Staff and doctors are professional and friendly, but beware purchasing frames from them, way overpriced and they will not price match, get your prescription and shop elsewhere for frames.

We travel from all over the world to see Dr Nathan for our daughter and now for myself and my husband!
Over 25 years and we still only trust Dr. Nathan for the best eye care ever.

I want to say how wonderful Dr. Padmini Nathan's office truly is! I love it because, it reminds me of my former Optometrist's office, Dr. Howard McFarland where I was a patient for at least 13 years (McFarland Optometry in Greensboro, NC). This office is nice and quiet and truly a "hidden gem." I recently to went Dr. Padmini Nathan's office because, I scratched my cornea and I was unable to get an appointment for an emergency examination anywhere else. Of the three offices that I contacted this one was the only one that offered me an opening to come in. Although, I had to wait until the following day it was worth it. In the interim I went to the ER, and followed up with their office the next day.My appointment was scheduled with Dr. Sydney Cooper, and I want to say, "she's amazing!" She made me feel at ease and she took my situation very seriously. She was very thorough in her examination, and with that said, she is going to follow up with my Primary Care Physician to ensure that I have lab work completed to rule out any underlying health issues that may be affecting my eye. I was so impressed because, this is the kind of continuity of care and communication amongst a patient's team of health professionals that is so needed and important. I was so thankful and grateful that they were able to schedule me for an appointment, and I knew that I was in good hands. I was happy that she was willing to take those extra steps to ensure my overall health. The entire staff and team were friendly and helpful from my initial call to the moment I arrived, and throughout my visit! I want to personally thank Dr. Cooper, Dawn, and Heidi and the entire team for making my visit so pleasant! You've just gained a new patient! Peace & Blessings!
