Worse place ever!!!!!!! If you want to die go there.. Just left that place not sure how they could even call that a hospital.. My daughter was brought in by EMT from her school from having troubles breathing and passing out chest pain on her left side by her heart.. the EMT at least gave her something to relax her.. THIS FOOKING place was going to release her after there about an hour.. she started to have another attack I called the doctor back in and they just stood there. I ask them to do something the A-hole doctor said what would you like me to do.. she telling him she can breath and pass out twice and still having trouble breathing... AND I Quote the doctor said if her heart stop I use them paddles.. this place is a damn joke.. Please please run as fast as you can before you die this place should be under investigation..

In spite of electronic charting between clinicians, the communication between physicians, staff, and patients is disorganized affecting continuity of care. For example, physicians have 48 hours from initiating a verbal order before having to chart it in the system. Thus, discontinued orders continue to be performed by staff. Physicians and nursing are often unaware of the plans or actions of consulting physicians because of this 48 hour gap. HIPAA sensitive information is displayed prominently in the halls including patient sensitive identifying information. Much too much time from admission to initial contact with the best-fit physician for the patient, even in acute situations and especially on weekends. Chain of command issues such as consulting surgeons attempting to place orders for routine medical needs in non-emergency situations before the patient has been seen by their designated medical physician. Hospital has a significant systems problem, though many staff are top notch, the system errors are challenging to communication and best care. If you use this hospital, prepare to advocate constantly for yourself or your family member.
On the positive side, the THR My Chart app is great for being aware of test results and progress notes, though many staff seem not to have read them and will ask patients for updates they should be reading themselves. There are some very nice rooms on certain floors, though they continue to lack a small refrigerator for extended stays.
