Rude and not helpful my daughter (whos 14 not a little kid) moved some beads to look at the ones underneath that pack and she told her not to touch as she just stood behind the counter staring a hole through us! We left and went across the street to YGs much more friendly and also great customer service. Will not be back to youngs!

I visited to see if they too, carried the particular head scarves that I wanted, and that I recently noticed the store across the street had. Of course they did, as they are generally carrying a wider variety of items than their competition across from them. They even had some pants on a circular clothing rack at the front door. The quality of one head scarf design I chose was terrible. I always wash all of my new wearable cloth items before wearing, and after I washed the head scarves on a gentle cycle, I realized that the piece of the scarf that I believed to have been sewn on was only glued on. The glue was becoming undone already, so I had to hand stitch the entire piece on myself.
Besides this inferior quality item, which can be expected from this type of inventory, the visit was surprisingly pleasant - they greeted me well and showed appreciation for the sale. There was a time some years back, that I visited to see the Shea butter products they carried. The cashiers did not greet, they stayed behind their high risen counter speaking their own language with no regard for the customers they had in their store! They giggled, and seemed to be laughing about something they were saying about their customers in the store with them! I thought it was extremely rude to be conversation in this manner with NO REGARD for asking if anyone needed help, and so expressed my opinion to them as politely as possible... That "It is rude to speak your language like this with English speaking customers in your store, who just might need help with something, plus may be wondering if you are back there talking about them!" The owners apologized. Again this happened about 4 years ago. This visit, they at least greeted in a pleasant manner and even asked if I needed help finding something in particular.
