This school is definitely focused on developing great firefighters. The school is set up to be a paramilitary organization which provides a structure you can not find at any other academy. You learn real world and state requirements in order to be successful moving into this career field. All the instructors are fully dedicated to the recruits and want to see all of us successful. If you are mature and want to learn this is a great school. The school is a mix of classroom and hands on learning which offers Law Enforcement, Corrections, EMT and Fire. Most of the Law enforcement and corrections are already hired with departments while almost all of the Fire and EMT students are not sponsored. I recommend taking EMT before the fire program.

I graduated from the EMT program and thought it was great. The instructors were amazing, they actually took the time to properly teach you and make sure you understood what you were learning about. I knew if I had a question that they would answer it without making me stupid for having to ask. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone that asked. It does take a little work to apply but its definitely worth it.
