image Completely neglected the day after giving birth, only 2 nurses on call at a time . The day I left they didnt even remove my iv out of my arm . I ended up having to go back to get it removed. Did not check on me the day after birth and got nothing but attitude from one of the nurses. No support at all for lactation, the lactation specialist didnt even try and help me latch . Handed me my birth certificate packet with no instructions. Save your time and go somewhere else

image They totally missed my dad's small cell lung cancer. Had I not followed up with his PCP, he would probably be dead. It was thar bad. Luckily, his primary care physician caught it when I brought her the scans and blood work. It had spread and he had tumors around his heart and was causing a myocardial infarction. He couldn't breathe and they literally told him he had a herniated disc or something stupid. He was rushed to Renown and spent 6 months there in the ICU. This place is fine for breaks or sprains but don't expect them to diagnose anything major. The doctors and nurses are always super nice and helpful but the social worker wasn't helpful at all. The renown social workers were awesome. Everytime I've gone the doctors and nurses were wonderful. They are all amazing people. I'm sad this whole thing happened because every other experience has been great . However, I had to go to the ER a few months ago by ambulance and the EMT flat out told me to choose Renown.
I was in there last night and I can't remember the night nurses name but he was EXCELLENT. The first Dr. I saw was awesome as well.
Just make sure you sign up for the portal and take any results to your PCP.
Also, one final thing. Billing is insanely AGGRESSIVE. Everytime I've gone, billing will not leave the room until I've either paid the whole thing or set something up. I'm in horrible pain and this aggressive human is in my face about money. I'll say anything to get you out of my room. Then they call and accuse you of lying. Don't come at me in pain. Period. This place needs a new billing process. I have NEVER had billing in any hospital bully me the way they did. Last I checked, you were allowed emergency care even without insurance(I have insurance but apparently it's not sufficient)
