I'm soooo happy with my apartment here at The lodges at lake Salish! I consider myself lucky every day to wake up and see this gorgeous view and nature from every window in my unit. I've had nothing but pleasent interaction with the management staff and maintenance. Any issues that have arisen have been handled quickly and professionally. They respond to my emails promptly. The construction is getting old, but they are making the units look better and I know it won't last forever, there is nothing the Ladies in the office can do about it anyway, I do truly appreciate them and the hardwork they deal with. I'm sure keeping over 200 tenant's happy is a difficult task. I'm excited to see autumn here on the lake. I'm sure it will be gorgeous.

Cars get broken into nightly, overpriced units, moved into a dirty apartment where used soap bars were left behind and noticeable dirt and piles of grossness on the floor. Pictures were sent to management who did nothing. I would have recommended the staff but unfortunately the living here is below expectations for "luxury living".

The new windows they just put in are so noisy it sounds like a jet is going to land inside. They never sealed the windows and now we have an electric bill that’s outrageous. The parking here is a nightmare. Patio door on the main bedroom has snow on the inside if we open the door.. our fireplace doesn’t have a fan that works and when you ask them they tell you they don’t fix it. Bathroom wall above the master had never been finished. The walls are very thin here You have to be very careful what you or the neighbors can here your conversation! You have to really complain to get get anything done here. Please rethink if you’re planning on moving here.The biggest think, I wish they cared more about the people here as now with this storm, cars are stuck all over. Why couldn’t they at least have someone plow here so people could go places they need to. The only thing they want is your rent every month or else.

I’ve been at this apartment complex for a year, my roommate and I have not had a stellar experience.
Less than a year into our lease, both our cars parked in different places has been broken into and damaged. Since COVID-19 and no package holds, we’ve had 5 packages taken from our unit. The construction is awful (I know it’s to better the complex, but the noise is unbearable). The walls are so thin, we can hear our upstairs neighbors’ full conversation, words to the songs they are listening to, the children’s cries, the fighting, the running and all the stomping. Everything! The people upstairs are horrible and inconsiderate.
I understand the stress of managing and trying to assist so many people, but the office staff’s customer service has deteriorated after signing the lease and even more so after COVID-19. I’ve had the phone slammed on me twice after a conversation, couple of the girls in the office are very short and not very helpful. I’ve had one person from the office be nice and considerate, I cringe when I get the other two.
Parking is not the greatest, the lines are unevenly drawn, most of the spaces are for “compact” cars or the support beam for the “covered spot” is in the way of opening doors making them short and not useful. My roommate and I have to tag-team our spot to make it work. It’s a daily struggle. We are assigned one spot and the second is whatever is leftover. Good luck finding spots after 4pm, when everyone and their guests are home.
The positives are that the maintenance is super nice and comes out timely and the complex location is great for what I need... highway access, grocery stores, and the airport. Floor plan is great for two adults (in the two bedroom layout).
Overall, the negatives out weigh the positive and I would not renew our lease. I had so many high hopes for this property making it a home, but sadly it’s disappointing and not worth all the troubles.
