Biggest political scam ever. Mayor makes $180k+ a year. The electoral process is a joke, only a member of city council can be mayor that is elected by themselves.
Reminder that the mayor makes more then 5 firefighters or 4 police officers or 4 EMTs. No mayor in WV should make that salary especially a small town like fairmont. Drive around fairmont and the place looks like a 3rd world country, roads falling apart, trash everywhere the homeless camps,buildings falling apart but yet so high paid politics.

“Friendly city” NO NO NO! Just look up Mayor Tom Mainella and you will see just how “friendly” the Mayor, city council & police really are through vulgarity privilege & corruption. Only faced with the exposure of the Mayor’s behavior towards a child in the community did he begrudgingly and poorly apologize to the family after dismissing them from a city council meeting. These civil servants truly believe they are untouchable & above the law. Judge for yourself, video of mayor Tom Mainella shows the type of person he really is.
