ADT has to be one of the biggest money rackets for home security in the US. Issue after issue with either cameras, the mobile app, customer service, you name it. Will be paying out the rest of my contract and 110% find different services.

Horrible customer service using 800 number. Hung up on twice, put on indefinite hold 3rd time. For some reason I can not delete OLD equipment from my own account. And obviously they can't do it either.
If you never have to use customer service they are ok

Customer service is terrible. I always get transferred from department to department after being on hold for 47 minutes without getting anything accomplished

ADT sucks!!! My Dad who passed in 2021 was still getting billed for a service that wasnt working which was being paid through autopay through his bank account that now is mine. I stopped it and now they simply placed my name on account for a place where I havent lived at in over 39 years and I never knew existed or signed up for, I called to cancel account , and they saw and said I had nothing to do with account and they placed me on permanent hold and literally never came back to phone. So if You want to cancel ADT account they just place you on hold and ignore you. On hold for two hours before I hung up. I spoke with someone named Stacy and a KiKi. Get a ring system!! ADT states on their phone call while youre holding that they have been in business for 140 years! Which means theyve been monitoring your homes since 1871! I ask how were they protecting your home in 1877?!
