Julia's always impresses me with the amount of organic and local ingredients it uses in its meals and snacks- even their coffee, by Diving Duck, is wholly organic (and free-trade). Not only do I like supporting Julia's because it supports local business (its greens for example come from a variety of local growers and it has a HUGE selection of teas from Sipping Stream), I like it because everyone there is always very nice and seem to care about what they feed people (if you're vegan or gluten-free, which I'm not but know people are, there's that stuff too). There are usually always a selection of smoothies, salads and quiches, muffins and treats, and a meal-of-the-day combo with a main course, soup and salad (that's about $12). Get there a little before or after lunch and it'll be less busy. They also have magazines and books to read and a clean restroom.
