So, first off I appreciate Ryan the worker who watches my visits and Dan, the amazing man who gets my children too and from our visits safely. The ladies at the front desk are very sweet and kind but Carmela and File Soriano have got to be the most incapable workers I have ever met, I have filed over 11 grievances with DHS on not only Carmela but also her supervisor Fil and NO ONE has gotten ahold of us, their own rules state someone has to reach out to you within 5 days. Carmela ignores us, fails to communicate which causes stress on not only us but our relationship with our children. They discriminate instantly against men because they assume the man won't be there, NOT ALL MEN LEAVE THEIR CHILDREN. When she is wrong she won't admit or correct her mistakes and this is a lady whose sole purpose at work is to correct YOUR mistakes as a parent, how can she be an overseer when she doesn't do her job correctly. They are so used to people failing their program that when they have a couple that is all about improving their lives everyday and shining bright successfully that their assumptions cause a lot of unescessary problems and not for us but for them. Also, they didn't allow my husband to see our daughter for almost 3 months while they allowed me to see her almost instantly even though we participate in the same treatment and been clean and sober the same amount of time, ALSO just an FYI you do not have to go to Willamette Family like they try to tell you. We left lane County and went to Roseburg to ADAPT and independent agency that does not work hand in hand with DHS. Please tighten up your game DHS.
