This is for peacehealth sacred heart University ER. Moved it to 4 stars instead of 3 because the comparison of 6 to 8 hour wait at riverbendover made this option look much better in retrospect.

The Oregon Rehab Center was a complete waste of time for my boyfriend who had a massive stroke. The peace health care managers led us to believe this was the best & most experienced place for the insurance that we had. They also said no other inpatient rehab facilities were open. This particular facility was also just over an hour away from our home.
All of the therapists treatment activities were ill-planned. They were usually late and that would take away from his therapy time. Their therapy practices are extremely outdated and not adjusted for his particular needs and goals. He expressed to me he was neglected a lot of the time & was as good as dead in there. The RNs and most of the CNAs were amazing. I understand theyre moving buildings but thats no excuse to a poor program.
I unfortunately would not recommend this place to anybody. Especially if this is stroke related. The first 3-6 months are the most critical for stroke recovery and this was a waste of some of his potential. This was also a waste of the allowed funding we had for inpatient treatment. We are both unhappy, worried, and frustrated about his future capabilities since our available funding was limited and wasted at ORC.

Best care in every way. I had a medical emergency a few days back and they treated me really well! Today, we were having our first primary care appointment, since we decided to have them as our long term medical services providers.
