Had State Farm forever. Had no complaints. Recently bought a newer vehicle (new to me anyway, 7 years old) and they jacked my insurance up from $54 a month to $98 a month. I've got no accidents, no points, a clean driving record, and I've been with them for over 10 years.
So I got a quote from Progressive online a week later and they're only charging $26 a month for the same exact coverage.
It's a no brainer, bye bye State Farm.

RIP OFF!!! My aunt has paid for home owner's insurance for 30 years to State Farm. She had a house fire and now because State Farm is a fraud she has been prevented from getting back in her home because State Farm is not living up to the standards they advertise. The fire was 2 1/2 months ago and she is still waiting for State Farm to get the repairs started so her and the kids can move back in to her house. All State Farm has done is put her off and give her the run around wasting the claim money she was awarded. If you are looking for professional and reliable insurance for your hard earned money DO NOT trust or do business with State Farm insurance. They will rob you blind with a smile on their face. Then when you need to make a claim you will be at their mercy.
