Growing up my cousin Volunteered Here so I was always there and I absolutely LOVED it! Mr. grizzly was the absolute best (RIP) I haven’t been in a while cause I moved. I’m looking forward to taking my kids here sometime soon. And I have respect for all the volunteers And workers I’ve to been on that side there it’s not easy but it’s so worth it!

I haven't been here in a long time, but Inhave very fond memories of touring the sanctuary when I was a kid. The cougars were beautiful, and we were close enough to get a good look. They also had a smaller building where we met a few other animals, including a small hedgehog. I highly recommend this place to any nature lovers.

Poor animals caged up for life rolled out to shill for money. Sad and inhumane.

I am not quite sure what to think about this sanctuary. There weren't many wildlife animals there when I stopped through September 2018. A bear, parrot, possum, squirrel, and two ferrets. The volunteer was very sweet. I had called ahead to verify opening and availability to tour. She called me back to explain there weren't many animals as they had to be moved to other places due to bad weather destruction of some cages. I can only imagine how difficult it must be to keep up a place like a sanctuary for wildlife by donations and volunteers. However, i am thankful they are there for when and if needed, but I feel sad learning that bears are now considered a kill on site when people' complain about a bears presence. I would have liked to have seen Annie, the bear in a bigger area with more of her natural habitat available to her being that she's is a permanent resident.
