On 7/20/20 I had an Appt. at Mass Eye & Ear at their new Bridgewater, MA location. After a short Covid wait, I was directed to enter the Bldg. with mask and I was promptly escorted to a treatment room to fill out some paperwork. Dr. Namiranian soon came in and examined my ears. I had been having difficulty understanding conversation and TV dialog. Dr. Namiranian found a wax build-up in both ears and painlessly removed it all. Right away I could hear appreciably better. After a short wait, I had my hearing tested by Audiologist, Carla Petersen. We had a brief conversation about a few factors I experience that affect hearing in many situations, tinnitus & a loud mechanical heart valve I have. Carla was very thorough, testing my hearing of both high & low frequency sounds and different volume levels. Luckily, my hearing had remained stable since last test. Carla had a few recommendations for my hearing aid audiologist and printed me a complete assessment of the test parameters. Dr. N and the well trained audiologists at Mass Eye & Ear like Carla Petersen, help me keep my hearing as sharp as possible. They are the Best !
