Great gym, the weightroom has more squat racks and deadlift platforms than most gyms I've been too. Also love that it's a family-owned business with the owner personally conversing with members and creating an awesome community

I was a member of Gravity for 10 plus years and only because of it being conveniently located near my home. If it wasn't for proximity, then I would have left years ago. I say this because the gym has always had equipment problems that took forever to fix, not enough airflow and since covid no sanitary measures were taken, toilets overflow frequently, showers are nasty, they took away all classes and spin classes. Masks were required, but not enforced and the cleaning products they provided didn't smell like anything...may have been just water for all we know. Regardless, I stuck it out, didn't complain and continued to workout at Gravity. Since the new ownership has taken over, Jessica has been very challenging to engage in conversation with. Myself and my three children were members as well. Recently, when I contacted Gravity and requested to speak with Jessica to ask her about a fee I was accessed with, she was very defensive right away. Her responses to my questions were very unprofessional and condescending. She was infuriated that I called to inquire about a fee I had no recollection for and would have selected a student pay in full option rather than the monthly rip off deal she gave me if I had known. Even still, I am not one to not pay my bills and would have certainly paid, but was looking for an explanation of what the fee was. Jessica would not explain and just yelled at me saying "it was in your contract and I verbally discussed this with you!" Ok, well just looking for an explanation around it. She screamed at the top of her lungs at me again and said, "that's it, I want you out!" then she hung up on me. I called back and her daughter Ashley conveyed that her mom Jessica revoked my membership as well as all my family members. What kind of a person revokes ones membership due to an inquiry around their fees! Not only my membership, but my entire families, including my daughter who has paid for her own membership!! Jessica is the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered as well as her daughter Ashley. She has two other children who work at Gravity and they are as sweet as can be, but not Ashley and Jessica. Jessica changes the rules often...for example,  my daughter is a college student and had to freeze her membership for the entire time she was away at colleges which is what she can do according to her contract. However, Jessica was saying very animated in front of people to my daughter that you can only freeze if you freeze for 6 months! She froze for only 5 months. However, her contract states otherwise, "ALL P.I.F. (WHICH IS WHAT SHE IS) MEMBERSHIPS FREEZES ARE FEE FREE AND HAVE A MAXIMUM FREEZE LENGTH OF 6 MONTHS/ 1 YR WITH DOCTORS NOTE OR STUDENT ID" THE CONTRACT READS NOTHING ABOUT YOU BEING REQUIRED TO FREEZE FOR 6 MONTHS OR MORE ONLY. Jessica has a tendency to change the rules often and that is why I inquired about the fee because I didn't recall having that conversation. There have been so many members that have had to deal with her overcharging them, not stopping their membership even when they have left the club. I will be putting in a complaint to the Better Business Bureau as well! If you are contemplating attending this gym, think twice because Jessica is not someone you will want to deal with!!!
