Had one year of service included with Cooks after our new home build was completed. It was supposed to be totally free but then we were charged a $50 fee to literally put our names on the account and switch it over from the builders. Our contract stated they were supposed to come every 3 months and service our home. Cooks didnt come to our home one time in the entire year. I know this because someone is always home, we have cameras and they never once left a notice or note on the door that they were there or tried to service our home. Assuming they would only do the outside and not the interior, which again, went against the agreement we signed.
I called to cancel when they tried to bill us after the year was up. Someone came by a week later and removed the termite bait stations from the yard. We then receive another bill. I called again and was rudely told I hadnt canceled in time and that we owed for service along with late fees. Considering Cooks didnt follow their own contract and come to our home once why would we owe them anything? The lady I spoke with was incredibly rude and demanded proof of when I canceled. I demanded proof of when they came to our home in the previous 12 months. She said she would discuss the issue with a supervisor/manager. She called back the next day and said as a courtesy they would waive the bill and cancel the contract. What a joke. Incredibly disappointing and Im honestly shocked by all the positive reviews for them on google. Would not recommend.
