One of our home buyers had specific and unique appraisal needs. Katie took the time to thoroughly address their situation and offered thoughtful options. She is experienced, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Communications were clear and productive. We will be calling her again.

I would not suggest hiring K&K. This company performed an appraisal on a home I'm purchasing on behalf of the seller for $350 (he was trying to determine a fair "asking price). She was shortly thereafter selected by my lender—at random—to do a second appraisal on the same property, and within one month of the first. She charged my lender (who of course passed the fee directly to me) the same price! I called her to discuss why. She was misleading—if not outright dishonest. She told me she used different "comparisons" and I corrected her. 4 out of 5 were exactly the same. She was unaware that I had copies of both appraisals directly in front of me! NEAR ALL of the information was simple copy & paste. Clearly, K&K saw this as easy money and took advantage. Not necessarily illegal. But unfair, in my opinion. Another appraiser (with whom I'm friends) said he's never seen a professional charge the same amount in his career on a "repeat."
