image Life is hard enough once you are disabled... And to have to deal with RUDE staff that answers the phone makes it even worse. Wish we didnt have to deal with this company because they act like they dont care

image am Savannah Moore, Ive been a customer  with NSM since 2014. I received my second chair in 2019. Although service with NSM is usually really  good I noticed since Covid things have been unsatisfactory. I have called multiple times since 2019 for basic repairs on my Second chair. It took four techs In two years for a basic repair to be fixed. I had asked to speak to a manager during  that time and it took sending an email to corporate to finally receive a response and that still wasnt much help.
Unfortunately in November 2021 A wire to my second chairs motors got damaged. A tech was able to come out as soon as possible. But the damage was so bad that the chair  couldnt be repaired in a timely manner. National Seating Mobility had to order new motors . As you may know that is a lengthy process. After three months of waiting the motors finally came in. Originally In summer 2021 motors were supposed to be ordered but the order got canceled for some reason. on February 28, 2022 Corey, a tech based in Atlanta  came out to work on the chair. When he arrived he explained that the motors came in damaged. At this point we are extremely upset. We contacted the office to let them know we want to speak to a manager. We have asked over four times in the past four months and weve received no response from management. Ive also sent emails to corporate and no response.
This situation has gotten so bad that I am not able to participate at school, every day activities and possibly work. I begin work with the Atlanta Braves April 7th and Im not sure how thats going to work.  If it werent for my starter power chair I would be stuck in bed. My starter chair also  needs many repairs and national seating mobility explained that they are not allowed to repair it now that I have the other chair. Since this is an older chair theres not much room and its extremely uncomfortable. Going up any incline has been very difficult and Cory explained the chair has low batteries.
If it werent for a manager named Laton at one of the wear houses in Atlanta I dont know what I would have done. She gave me her personal number to give me updates on the part. It is March 31,2022 and still no part. One of the positive things I can say about NSM is some of the staff is so kind and helpful.
This process has been extremely stressful and not being able to speak to management to have clarity on the situation and have back up options like a loner chair is very concerning.

image I was very impressed with the salesman/installer (Fred Thomas). He was very technically capable and knew exactly what he was doing. The installation was impeccable and he performed it in one afternoon. The equipment runs perfectly and was sorely needed as a few days afterwards, I had to have left hip replacement and I couldn't have navigated the stairs with out this. Thank you for a fine organization!

image Cant ever seem to get a response from these people. Very unprofessional. Update.. I have been waiting on my new chair for over a year now. Does anyone have any recommendations of other places that do this service? By far one of the worst customer experiences ever. No one is doing their job. You have to do it for them. Avoid at all costs.
How are you all still able to operate as a business. Shut this place down! This is a joke.

image I have been in contact with NS&M since the beginning of 2020 trying to get a new wheelchair for my cousin. Grant it, between them and the doctors office, nobody could ever seem to be on the same page so his insurance provider denied his new wheelchair claim. I was told that they could either repair or replace but not both so since the claim was denied, we opted for the repair. I have text and called, text and called, text and called for MONTHS and still can't get the service guy Rafy to respond to any of my messages or come by to repair the chair. My cousin is homebound, with no chair and was missing very important doctors appointments so we had to end up coming out of pocket to purchase a chair so he could at least go to his annual appointments. This is just bad business. I was told by the technician that Medicaid seems to be hurting the participants by denying claims instead of helping...look whose talking!! Its sad and pitiful and I am extremely disappointed in their non service!!
