We've been able to get out taxes taken care of at H&R Block since the 80's with no problems ever.

If theres any way you can avoid this place, do so. There seem to only be two employees here, and only one that actually does tax work. She did not explain what she was doing, she did not help us find any applicable deductions, and we ended up owing quite a bit of money to the federal government and she could not explain why, or how to properly fix it for next year. We also left without knowing the details of our return because she did not know how to properly file our out of state taxes from last year prior to moving to CO. We had to return a second time to sign the paperwork. Then, weeks later, we received a notice from NY that our tax information was incomplete, and we had to go back in a third time to straighten that out (with very little time before the deadline for that information). We left after the third visit and faxed the form she gave us (at our own expense because they dont even have a fax machine), only to find out two days later (on the deadline of the due document) that they gave us the wrong form entirely. So we had to rush over for a fourth time to pick up the correct document, and then rush to get that form faxed before the deadline.
All throughout this they did not apologize once, nor show any sort of empathy towards the situation, nor offer any sort of refund for the over $400 we had paid them. Abysmal customer service and inadequate work at best. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
