My dog seemed very fearful of the owner after a few weeks of regular visits, I had friends come by for drop off to observe this behavior and eliminate the possible bias of my own paranoia. He seemed fine and excited with the rest of the staff, but really didnt want to be anywhere near her.
We stopped going even though we had credits for many more stays. Hes never been afraid of humans, trainers or daycare staff in other facilities since.
I dont know if it was her training style he didnt like or if she actually got rough with him, but again Ive never seen him be so fearful of a person before or since. I chose to trust my dog that I know well, and advise to observe your dogs behavior around the staff/owner after a visit or so. But I wouldnt risk it.

I have taken my dogs to Hounds on the Hill for ten years. I know my pups are well cared for and safe. Terri has a good understanding of dog behavior. I got a toy Aussie last June and took an obedience class from her. He is a very different temperament than what I am use to. She was very helpful.

We've been taking our shepherd mix to daycare here for about 8 months (starting when she was 6 months old). She loves daycare and is always so excited to arrive and get dropped off with her friends. We've never had any type of issue, as it seems owner Terri goes above and beyond to make sure all dogs are safe and happy. Our dog loves Terri and always comes home exhausted and happy from playing. They have affordable and quality grooming as well which is super convenient to have done while they're in daycare. I'm a very anxious dog owner and I highly recommend Hounds on the Hill!

Perhaps a better fit for non-bully breed owners. I felt my dog wasn't welcome as I was quite literally told the daycare does not usually allow bully breeds and they need to be treated differently (I.e. not allowed around most dogs based off past experiences). I take him to daycare to socialize. This is an antiquated thought process and perpetuates the stigma against them. The owner did not even come from behind the counter to greet my dog. A staff member did and gave him a treat so that was appreciated. It was a strange "evaluation" and I'm not sure why I was invited to come with my pitbull when the owner was not comfortable with it, knowing ahead of time he was in-fact a pitbull. Another daycare will love to have his friendly presence. :/
