Buyer Beware

Entered into contract with Jim Pike of Prestige Landscapes LLC on 9/2/09. As of 12/14/09 the contract was not fulfilled. An addendum to the contract was drafted and signed. Per the terms of the addendum the work was to be scheduled in March 2010 and completed first priority in Spring 2010. Additionally, there is warranty/guarantee work to be completed per the original contract. As of 6/28/10, Jim Pike has stopped returning calls, emails and texts. No work as been completed on our project since 12/14/09. Money has been held back to cover the remaining work but it is not enough to pay a new contractor to complete the job. Additionally, the retainer will not cover warranty/guarantee work. We are asking that Jim Pike of Prestige Landscapes LLC be held to the terms of the contract or that monies paid be returned so that another contractor can be hired to complete the job.
