Stunning views as we were there on a clear day, including Mount Denali. The Park Ranger said we were lucky as the sun had not been seen in a while. Very little open in early April, which meant we had the Mountain Vista Trail pretty much to ourselves.

Its a gigantic and sublime national park! So much nature surrounded by mountains. Everything is grandiose! Some nice trails in winter and in particular the Mountain Vista Trail with a superb view. The visitor center lends you snowshoes for hiking and also crampons.
This park is really beautiful! Don't hesitate, it's worth the hours of driving.
We also went down route 3 to see the Fenali North viewpoint. It is unfortunately closed in winter but the route is beautiful.

Incredible natural setting. Highly recommended to take advantage of a sunny day to take a seaplane and fly through the Denali mountains. Part of my heart will always have that mountain.
