Horrible clinic. My child goes here strictly because it's who partners with his school and we have no other options. If you have options, choose any where else.
First of all, they will make promises about therapy that is not kept. For example, they'll tell you your kid will be seen bi-weekly. That's not going to happen most months. They'll make up 15 different excuses as to why it just couldn't. But they won't make any effort to actually make it happen. Also a very specific example is that we were promised bi-weekly individual sessions and bi-weekly group sessions over the summer. They changed my kid down to one session a month individually. Didn't even bother to tell us.
You'll try to get in contact with the therapist and that won't happen. Messages don't get delivered. But it really wouldn't matter even if they did, because you're not going to get any updates about how your child is doing. Who cares that it's your child who you enrolled and who you signed all the paperwork for. It's like you don't need to know what's going on. So you'll ask your kid instead and he'll tell you oh we just played video games... you'll ask if you talked about anything while you played those video games... and he'll say no.
First appointment is at 8:00 a.m., let me tell you what, if you like to be early, don't. They won't open the door until after 8:00 so you'll be stuck standing outside. And then if your therapist has to reschedule, you won't get a phone call until after you're already there. And their excuse will be "well we don't open until 8:00." As a provider of care, if your first appointment is at 8:00 then you need to open at 7:30. Under no circumstances should someone be having to miss work/school, to come to an appointment, just to be told upon arrival that it's been rescheduled. That is a complete and utter at lack of professionalism.
They'll also tell you that they're scheduling system has been down for 2 months... And perhaps that's true... but the lack of getting it fixed combined with the lack of having an alternate solution, goes to further show the problems and issues with this clinic.
