I took a large screen RCA television in for a repair in late March, early April. May came and I called to check on the status of the repair. I was told by Mr.Dean the part had not come in. I thanked him and continued my wait. I called regularly after that and got a recording, which, I left numerous messages for him to please call me and let me know what the status of the repair was. I went by the shop numerous times to find nobody in the office. Last week I went by again to learn that he had closed up shop and took my television with him. No warning. No call. Nothing. He has had it for 3 months and I have had no contact with him, except the one call I initiated. I was told he had a sickness in his family. I can understand that and have been more than patient in the situation, but to find he closed the shop without reaching out to me is the worse kind of professionalism. Now when I call the number the phone has been disconnected. I’m left to consider if I let it go, or file small claims. I am a very unhappy customer with this business. I pray for the sick family member, but he handled his business very poorly.
