Took my child to the emergency room last night because she was complaining of right side pain near appendix. We immediately took her in to rule out appendicitis. They checked us in at triage and then sent us back out to the waiting room to sit for about four hours because they had no rooms but yet people that came in after us got checked in and taken to a room right away. After sitting there I finally asked the lady behind the window and she seemed annoyed that I even asked how much longer for my child. When we finally got a room nurse and physician came in the room in a timely manner. Im just thankful it wasnt an appendicitis because if it was and her appendix burst while we were sitting out in the waiting room I would have been one pissed off parent.

If I could give Genesis a negative I would. I was a patient in the E.R. on Sat. 3.9 for several hours and seen a lot. They let kids running around making alot of noise, people using the speaker on the phones and other people talking so loudly on their phone and practically yelling. Some patients were yelling at the staff and even using verbally abusive language, which I think they should of called Security. The worst part was a staff member going into the registration office and going off on the registeaur. They were going back and forth for a few minutes. Then the registeaur was on the phone yelling, even with the sliding window shut you could hear her clearly.
FYI, by this time the E.R. was SWAMPED, yes there was a guard there but he did'nt do anything!
I will start going to Trinity in Bettendorf!

My 10 year old grandson
was brought in by ambulance due to extreme pain. Ambulance put in waiting area. All they did was triage vitals and blood work. 10 and one half hour. My daughter left. Nurses at window told her they were busy. At 9hours they told he they were discharge 4 people yet not seen . This seems to be their procedure it is shameful.
