Meet Dr. Farzaneh Dr. Kian Farzaneh DDS is an accomplished oral surgeon, wisdom teeth specialist, and dental implant specialist in Danville, California. At his practice, Dr. Farzaneh cares for patients using the latest advances in oral and maxillofacial surgery. These include Nobel Guide, which is a CT-guided implant planning and placement technology, and "Teeth in an Hour," a service that helps people who need immediate dental implants. He is one of the few surgeons trained in placement of the Zygomatic Implants, a procedure that eliminates the need for bone grafts in severely resorbed jaws. Dr. Farzaneh graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1999. He completed a one-year internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Highland General Hospital/University of the Pacific. He then completed a four-year oral and maxillofacial residency program at the same hospital. Dr. Farzaneh has received multiple certificates in the area of dental implants, including certificates from Nobel Biocare, one of the world’s leading authorities on dental implants. He is also currently on staff at John Muir Medical Center, a major trauma center in the Bay Area. He is a member of numerous associations, including the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Contra Costa Dental Society, Academy of Osseointegration, and Sadi Fontaine Academy. Dr. Farzaneh continues to keep updated with the newest advances in oral and maxillofacial surgery. His goal is to make oral surgery simple for patients and to perform procedures with the highest level of predictability. To give back, he lectures and offers continuing education to his colleagues in the state of California.
