First please note that 99% of the reviews on this panel are from Maintenance reviews NOT from the apartment complex. Google is one of our clients so I've asked one of my reps there to review this panel for any false or misleading reviews.
The last time I wrote a review that real estate company had to change their name because people stopped wanting to lease any apartments I hope the same happens with this.
Lets start with the positives. The location itself is beautiful. Its right by the beach, the Hollywood Broadwalk is not far a little touristy but can still be fun. The hard rock is not far either. My neighbors are friendly and even tho the gym is smaller than a normal sized kitchen the inside does have some decent workout areas. Mainly just free weights and less machines to be honest. The pool area is nice as well but only one of them is open. Maintenance people are friendly and work hard to keep the equipments from the 1600s working the best they can. They come quick and normally fix things fast.
Unfortunately those are the only pros.

However the surrounding area is ghetto. No other way to say it especially down the street maybe 6 blocks. And the gates dont work so anyone is welcome to come inside. If you have a nice young lady like me expect her to be cat called, expect wierdos to Rome around and blast through the complex roads whenever they please speeding by as they barely dont run you over. Best place to go is Hollywood with nice outdoor restaurants because Miami itself is a day trip. YOU ARE DEEP from Miami when traffic is alive and well.
Apartment leasing agents, staff:
I wonder if the staff at the Sheridan Ocean Club actually ever do any work? I think they spend their days just driving in circles around the complex. I don't know what actual work they would be doing because:
After moving it was "hey sign here" and seems like they just drop off the face of the earth. Let me tell you why.
Our mailbox was apparently switched and we were never notified or given a new key once this happened. I believed our mail was getting stolen but really they just started putting mail in another unit numbers mailbox without letting us know. The sweet USPS lady helped me discover the mystery just today.
It gets even better. We had a vehicle shipped from across the country and was given a code to the gate that didn't work and still doesn't work to this day. Not that it would matter again because there is no real functioning gate at the front. Its broken. Has been broken. and will be broken lol.
When asking about the gate and when it will be fixed there is no clear answer trust me I went into the office and tried to address this myself. I was told that "the gate without a guard is left open and the gate where the guard sits is closed" (this is because only 1 gate is for Apartment residents the other gate is for the condo residents). The gate that's left open without a guard is the apartment gate. And when I say guard I mean the fruitcups sleeping. I had to look into the leasing office gentlemen eyes as he tried to explain it to me just to make sure he was all there. I'm not sure to this day.
My pool key just stopped working how convenient. And when moving in they asked me to verify my income over like 10 times when I had over a 7 figure tax return. Once that was done I was told to sign up for insurance but still charged extra for this other required insurance. No one is helpful, everything breaks, there are enough no seeums to cause the national guard to step in. The same yard workers blow the same leaves around all day early in the morning until late it reminds me of the SpongeBob reef blower episode. Good luck trying to work remote.
So yeah if you want to move into a pretty apartment complex right next to the ghetto that has an open gate at all times with the exit gate straggling half open at all times as well then this is a perfect fit for you. If you don't get the upgraded appliances in your unit you'll be washing your clothes and showering like early humans did back in the prehistoric ages.
