I want to warn anybody that is thinking of doing business with Aloe Dynamics, Jim Abanaka, Julie Abanaka or Donna Tatum all from Aloe Dynamics.
Here's what happened to me ..... We flew to Dallas to tour the facility and meet the formulator James "Jim" Abanaka. We met with the others mentioned above also, and all was well. We decided a couple weeks later to use Aloe Dynamics to formulate our health beverage product. Donna Tatum of Aloe Dynamics requested we "wire" $15,000 to get the project started, I questioned the payment method, but she hung firm they needed it wired if we wanted to get our product started right away.
I wired them the $15,000 as requested, and that's when all the problems began. Jim stopped taking my calls, Donna wouldn't return email messages, the communication nearly completely stopped. I did finally get Jim on the phone and he told me the reason he's not been taking my calls is that he heard from my employee that i was firing him and Jim thought I should keep him on my staff because he grew to like him. I proceeded to tell Jim he had no place giving me his opinion of my employees and that i didn't care what his likes were regarding my hiring or firing of anybody at my company. That was it, Jim never picked up the phone again, my product never got formulated and Jim Abanaka, Aloe Dynamics and all parties involved stole my money!!
Approximately 2 months went by and I received a call from the plant manager at Aloe Dynamics. When I toured the facility in Dallas, Jim introduced him as his longest tenured employee and his right hand man. Jim showed a ton of respect for this man.
On that call, he told me how he had to leave Aloe Dynamics because Jim hadn't paid him in nearly 6 months and that I would never get my order. He proceeded to tell me that the company was in horrible financial trouble and that Jim was taking the money from new orders to fill old orders and that there were no new orders to cover my order, so i would never get my order completed.
I hired an attorney and still have him on retainer regarding Jim Abanaka and the crook, ganster methods I experienced at Aloe Dynamics.
Jim will preach christian stuff to you when you speak with him, he will come across calm and cool handed, but I implore you to understand who this man is, he completely swindled me out of $15,000 with a smile on his face while Donna Tatum and Julie Abanaka his wife sat by as witnesses.
BEWARE of this man, this company, your money and more importantly, your time is in DANGER.
