We had a great experience at the Drakestone! Management and maintenance staff was always friendly and helpful. Its a great location and we had a memorable experience in downtown Dallas.

SO BEAUTIFUL & LOADED WITH AMENITIES, BUT BEWARE
There are some really great things about The Drakestone. For example: the concierge, location, aesthetic, rooftop, mail setup, tenant offices to work from, appliances, and several more. Receiving mail or large packages is a very easy task; that's been such a relief.
Chad King was also a 5 out of 5 in regards to the leasing process and move-in arrangements.
Now, depending on which floor and in which unit you live, your experience is going to be very different. On my floor, there has been incessant barking from a handful of dogs that are on my floor and the one beneath me. As someone who does most work from home, this has been anything but peaceful.
Also, if you're a light sleeper like me, be aware that you'll be hearing your neighbors, the hallways, the elevator, and everyone's conversations + footsteps at all hours of the day. I've invested in some noise cancelling headphones to best mitigate the noise, but it's so tough to sleep with them on.
The upsides far outweigh the cons, but for me the cons cancel out the plethora of pros. I haven't been able to get a fair night's rest since moving in. If hearing every neighbor you're near, and if the barks of a several dogs at once won't bother you, this will be the best place for you to move into.

The minute I stepped foot in The Drakestone I was amazed at the uniqueness of the building and the units. Move in was a breeze and Chad was great to work with. My apartment in amazing, the appliances are top of line and the amenities the building provides are superb.

While driving, the valet service stood in the middle of the street and wouldnt let me go by. This is a public street and there were no cars between where I was and the intersection I was taking a right at. There was no reason for him to do this. he then started yelling at me no no, callling me swears, and kicked my car multiple times. I called the drakestone to discuss the damage and they gave me a generic name for a company that they used, no phone number, and told me there was nothing they could do. I would hope they would decide to use a better valet service or report the person who did that, but since they said there was nothing they could do, I suppose they wont.
