For my son's cremation arrangements -service and responsiveness were impressive. Everything in the process was explained clearly and pricing was provided up front. I would definitely use Local Cremation and Funerals again.

The director and staff were exceptionally helpful and caring when my mother passed in November. We were away on a trip when she passed. The caregivers and hospice people were so good and reaffirmed that we didnt need to return immediately. Early arrangements had been made with Local Cremation talked with us in early morning hours to assure they were handling everything.. they called again after coroner gave permission and they had transported her body to their facility. They continued to reassure that there was no need for payment until ashes were presented to us. They do what they say and above expectations!

After dealing with a "big box" funeral home, I felt extremely dismayed with the initial lack of transparency and what I felt was a planned effort to price gouge during a time of grief. My mother-in-law and I were very close, and her wish was to be cremated. I called Local Cremations and Funerals to see if they would be able to transfer her body. I spoke with Stacy, who was extremely kind (something I didn't encounter at the big box funeral home initially). I ended up speaking with Frank, the director at Local Cremation and Funerals. He has worked in the industry to forty years, and you can tell he truly loves and cares about what he does. Frank was compassionate, honest, upfront and took the time to explain the process ; something that meant a lot to me, as I felt very lost and confused. When I informed the Big Box funeral home that I was transferring my dear MIL into Frank's care, they ended up agreeing to honor the same price as Local Cremation and Funerals and apologized for how they initially handled my family member's care. If it wasn't for the added fee the original funeral home would've charged to transfer and store her body, I would've went with Local Cremation and Funerals. Honest, trustworthy and a beautiful funeral director. Your loved one would be so safe here.
