I worked at this place back in 1979-1980. A wonderful time. Was in the kitchen, then out on the floor. Great memories. Back then, we made EVERYTHING from scratch in the kitchen. Sauces, salad dressings, everything was built from the ground up. Fantastic quality, and super-clean. The best bar food I've ever had (back then). Unfortunately, Friday's quality suffered over the years. The last time I ate at one, around 2016, it was awful.
Back then, soooo many drugs, soooo much sex. If anybody from back then sees this, I'd love to talk to you. I was very good friends with Kurt Fromherz. Dated Lori Kruger. Went to Europe with George Duncan. Find me on Facebook. I live in Denver. Again, would especially like to reconnect with Lori & George.

It is Closed!!!!!!!! Went there Sat. night July 12 and it has changed hands. We ate there anyway and it is a disaster ! Food was undercooked and cold.

The worst service ever... seriously don't go there. We were two, put a name on the waiting list with apparently 15 to 20 min wait. We ended up waiting more than 40 min and we could see like 5 tables available , so I approached the host to ask how many tables more were before us and I notice that they literally scratched our name and put it till the end of the list, so I asked him why they did that??? and he told me "no you just arrive..." I was OMG like I was crazy, that is the most rude thing ever!!!
